The Huichol Tribe
The Huichol are considered to be one of the last remaining pre-Columbian indigenous tribes in North America. Brant Secunda shares his unique perspective on the Huichol garnered from the many years he spent living among the tribe and his continued involvement within Huichol villages and communities.
Still living a life steeped in mysticism and shamanic ceremony, the Huichol are striving to maintain their ancient forms of spirituality. Their simple way of life provides a blueprint for living in harmony with the environment and honoring the spirits of nature.
