FAQ + Tips to ensure a great online program experience
How do I access the online classes?
Click on the “Access Online Event” button link in your registration confirmation email to join the workshop using Zoom.
You’ll also receive an email reminder with the access link.
And in case all those emails get lost, we can resend your confirmation email.
Tip: Plan to arrive/login 5 minutes early so that everyone is present to start on time.
Do I need to bring/have anything?
If possible, please light a candle and have it near you during the seminar. We will be using the candle for some practices. If you have a Huichol rattle, bring this as well.
Don’t have either of these objects? Do not worry! You can simply visualize the light of the fire and listen to the sound of Brant’s rattle through your speakers.
Do I need to attend the entire program?
Full attendance is encouraged, but it’s fine to take breaks as needed. You can leave the Zoom Meeting if necessary and return anytime throughout the seminar.
Tip: You can also turn off your video and mute your audio anytime you want to take a break but continue to follow the retreat.
Will a seminar recording be available?
No, there will not be an online recording available for this particular seminar following the live event, so make sure to join us live.
Do I need a computer to participate?
Yes, you’ll need a computer or mobile device (example: iPad or iPhone) with an internet connection speed of at least 800kbps/1.0Mbps (up/down). If you’re able to watch Netflix, you’re likely all set.
How does the online seminar work?
We’ll be using Zoom to connect with everyone during the seminar. This will allow you to see and hear Brant, while also interacting with other attendees throughout the program. You may already be a Zoom pro, but not to worry if that isn’t the case.

Will there be breaks?
Yes, there will a 15-minute break to allow time for stepping away from your screen and also potentially to go outdoors for specific shamanic practices.
What should I do if have technical issues?
If you have issues once joining with Zoom, please use the chat feature to communicate with the support team throughout the program.

How do I unmute myself?
If called upon during the seminar, please unmute yourself using the Zoom App controls. The “Mute/Unmute” button is usually in the lower left of your window.
