FAQ + Tips to ensure a great online experience
How do I access the online gathering?
Click on the “View the Event” button link in your registration confirmation email to join the online gathering using Zoom.
You’ll also receive an email reminder with the access link.
Tip: Plan to arrive a few minutes early so that you have time to settle and center yourself before we begin.
Do I need to bring/have anything?
If possible, please light a candle and have it near you during the gathering. We will be using the candle at times for certain practices. If you have a Huichol rattle, bring this as well.
Don’t have either of these objects? Do not worry! You can simply visualize the light of the fire and listen to the sound of Brant’s rattle through your speakers.
Will a recording be available?
No, there will not be an online recording available for each gathering, so make sure to join us live.
Do I need a computer to participate?
Yes, you’ll need a computer or mobile device (example: iPad or iPhone) with an internet connection speed of at least 800kbps/1.0Mbps (up/down). If you’re able to watch Netflix, you’re likely all set.
Are there any prerequisiteites?
No, you do not need any prior experience to join our monthly gatherings and all are welcome.
How does the online gathering work?
We use Zoom to connect during each online gathering. For our online gatherings, we use the webinar format, so although you will be able to see and hear the presenters, your audio and video will not be visible. You will be able to post questions and hopefully, you’ll get some answers.
You may already be a Zoom pro, but not to worry if that isn’t the case.

Will there be breaks?
There won’t be any breaks during the 1-hour gathering, but of course, we understand if you need to step away for a few minutes or if you can only join for part of the time.
What should I do if have technical issues?
If you have issues once joining with Zoom, please use the chat feature to communicate with the support team.
